Yay! I finally get to share another shoot of the most precious little family – the Tolleys!
This time around I am SO happy to finally formally introduce brand new miss Lydia Katherine!
Lydia decided that her birthday would be on April 23rd (which I personally think was a fabulous decision on her part… I’m sure Rach agrees!) and she had a head full of beautiful dark hair and the most perfect little nose… seriously! Look at that cute little thing!
Matt and Rachel, it is such an honor to be able to photograph so many different seasons of your life.
I remember photographing Anna when she was barely walking… and now to see her as a big sister seriously could bring tears to my eyes.
Your family is so precious and I am so thankful for all of you.
Anna, you are an amazing big sister!
Your auntie Abbie pointed out to me that you and Lydia have exactly the same difference in age that she and I have.
That fact makes me SO happy because as most people know, Abbie is one of my best friends in the entire world ;]
She is my cheerleader, my secret keeper, and the person I want to talk to when I’ve had a bad day.
I have no doubt in my mind that you and Lydia will be the very best of friends.
Seeing how much you love your little sister is amazing to me… You will be such a wonderful example for her for so many things!
Congratulations to the Tolley family and I wish all the best for you as you embark on the adventure of being a family of four.
I know that you will do such an amazing job and make a lot of people envious (like really, how is a family this good looking?) ;]
Lots of love to each of you!

Her due date was April 23rd. She decided that her birthday was April 19th.
Happy birthday, sweet baby!
Dearest Clara Grace,
You are just as beautiful as I knew you would be. You are the prettiest thing I have ever seen and I am so excited that you are a part of our family! Welcome to the world, little one. I know you are going to grow up to be a wonderful, kind-hearted, beautiful soul and I can’t wait to know everything about you… Can’t wait to see your sweet personality develop… I wonder what your favorite color will be, what color your eyes will turn, whether or not you’ll be a ballerina like your mom or a huge Bears fan like your dad (or both!). No matter what, always remember to be true to yourself. Always know that you are loved beyond your wildest imagination and no matter who you are, what you do, or where you go - you will always have the love and support of a great big family. If you ever want to eat ice cream for dinner or go shopping for the best pair of shoes, you can call your Auntie Rachel. I will be here for you forever and ever. I love you down to my bones.
xoxo,
Auntie Rachel

I promised my sweet sister, Abbie, that I would document the new most important room in her house:
Clara Grace’s nursery.
Abbie put so much love and thought in to this one little room… and I must say, it couldn’t be more perfect.
All of the details came together perfectly and the only thing missing is a precious little baby to enjoy it.
A few things to note (because I know you’ll be wondering!):
Clara’s bedding is from Pottery Barn
Her big chalkboard is from Organic Bloom (monogram written by our beautiful mom)
No, those aren’t all of her shoes ;]
The wreath was made by Abbie’s sister-in-law, Rachel T.
The hot pink letters were lovingly painted by Abbie’s good friend, Heidi.
The button “C” by Abbie’s good friend, Caroline.
The prints on the wall were discovered on Etsy by our mom.
And yes – somehow the whole thing is even more adorable in person!
Enjoy:

Hi internet friends…. first of all let me just say – I AM SO SORRY that I have been MIA for the past month. THings have been crazy busy and I’m loving every moment. Working full time, editing, and photoshoots are taking up all of my time and at the end of the day I think “Oops… I should have blogged.”
So today I will begin catching up on the past three months of shoots! Wish me luck!
And a very huge THANK YOU to all of my lovely, wonderful, very sweet clients who remain so very patient and understanding with me!
First of all, I hope you remember Shayla‘s maternity shoot. Well, Kadence was born and within a week we were able to grab some quick newborn shots of the little cutie before she and her mom moved down to North Carolina to be with Kadence’s daddy who has been serving our country overseas and now finally gets to meet his little girl!
Enjoy <3

Shayla is such a good mommy… I couldn’t believe how natural she was at it….

BIG yawn ;]
